Mommy and Aidan celebrating the arrival of Christmas season

After long anticipation, Aidan enjoyed very much his first trip in a Caribbean cruise, in the company of Abuelita Norka, Maribel (friend of abuelita) and some of Mami's best friends from university. It was so nice to share and at the same time have many new experiences and know new places. The whole family wants to repeat the experience!

One of the little rituals of our family is to have breakfast together before going to school and to work. Aidan provides plenty of entertainment with his craziness!

This weekend was Aidan's first visit to the dentist and it was a total success! First he kept Mommy company while she was getting her cleaning. When it was his turn, he was very brave and followed all the instructions. As a prize, Dr. Yeow gave him some little toys and a Woody tooth brush. Aidan has 20 teeth and they are all in great shape!

Today was Aidan's first day at his new daycare. He was pretty happy about the whole thing, and we got through drop off without any fuss! At pickup time he looked totally comfortable and happy and the teacher said he did amazing. Mommy & Daddy are so proud and relieved!

Aidan made it up the climbing wall all by himself for this first time this morning.

After the hair cutting service that normally comes to daycare cancelled at the last minute, Mommy, Daddy and Abuelita had to scramble to get someone to address the helmet that Aidan had been growing. Base on a recommendation from a friend, we checked out Melonhead, a salon specializing in kids haircuts. Aidan did pretty well once we convinced him to start, only getting upset when hair started getting in his face.

Aidan and Daddy took a trip on the bicycle to a park close to home that we'd never been to before. Aidan had a fun time driving to see "Abuita" (his version of "Grandma" in Spanish) and going up "his" stairs.

A few weeks ago Abuelo Sergio visited with us for three weeks. Aidan was very good with Abuelo and both enjoyed a lot walking, playing and joking around together fighting for the sofa bed: it's MY bed! When we talk about going anywhere Aidan always asks if Abuelo is coming with us. We miss you Abuelo, we will reunite very soon.
