I came home from the gym yesterday morning and saw that Aidan's door was open, but he wasn't there. Looks like he found a nicer place to snooze!

Aidan supports recycling
Aidan is a very environmentally conscious baby and decided to help us sort recycling. If only we knew we didn't need to spend any money on toys!
Playing at the park
Aidan went to the park this week and ate sand for the first time. We had a blast!
Reaching new heights
New skill
Mommy accidentally taught Aidan a new skill while trying to tell him not to lick the wheels of the stroller. He'll now do it (almost) on demand when we do, and has done it unprompted when getting him out of bed in the morning. It cracks us up!
Promoted to the grown-up tub
We've been bathing Aidan in his whale tub in his bathroom (the guest bathroom) for a while, but now that he's much more mobile and adventurous it's turning into a risky proposition. So, we decided that it was time to promote him to the grown-up tub in our bathroom. Tonight was his first time in the tub solo, and he seemed to have a lot of fun!
Clap Clap Clap!!
Aidan discovered that clapping with open hands makes more noise and it's more fun. The audience likes it better too!
Fun making a mess with food
Today for the first time we gave Aidan the chance to try finger foods by himself. It was a total mess but a lot of fun! Getting there!!

Aquaman, the beginning
Thanks to the heat wave that hit Toronto we had to start being more creative and thinking of new activities to entertain Aidan. That's how finally we decided to take him to the family swim time at the YMCA. Definitely Aidan enjoys the water in any possible form which makes Mommy and Daddy extremely happy...
