This year Aidan and Eliana went back to Punta Cana. We spent a week with Abuelita and some of Mommy's best and beloved friends. We all had a blast. A week full of swimming, great food and drinks, music and friendship!

Once in a while mornings go well and the kids share breakfast and playing time very nicely. I'm sure Daddy and mommy are going to miss the time around the kitchen counter when they grow older.

Eliana has gotten into Frozen recently and we've been listening to the soundtrack a lot.

We had a huge dump of snow on Monday/Tuesday (over 20cm). The kids did their part to help clean up in the morning.

Some friends organized a big group outing to a nearby ski hill on Friday and Aidan got to hit the slopes for the first time. There were activities scheduled for the morning and ski lessons and free skiing in the afternoon. He and his friends had a great time!

Eliana had her first official organized birthday party with friends this year. We packed a lot of people into our place (including Grandma, visiting from Edmonton and Tim the Music Man, who provided the entertainment). The kids had a blast!

Aidan celebrated his 8th birthday with his friends at LaserQuest, an indoor laser-tag centre. The kids had a lot of fun!

A little late on publishing this one...Aidan made life easier on us by deciding he wanted to wear the same costume as last year. Eliana was very excited about her pumpkin costume!

Aidan developed a special handshake for him and Eliana. This is the best video I could get so far. It's too cute!!

Eliana loves plantain and watermelon just like Mommy.
